The new car appears in the same frame as the NIO ES8, and at a glance, its body size is a full circle larger than the ES8. In terms of appearance, judging from the exposed spy photos, the NIO ES9 surpasses the ES8 in both body height and width. The front face styling is similar to the all-new NIO ES8, and the signature split headlight group is exactly the same as that of the all-new NIO ES8. The side profile and rear of the body also adopt the family design, and it is expected to feature a through-type taillight and be equipped with lidar. The front of the NIO ES9 seems shorter, which also indicates that its interior space is larger, but the front trunk space will be correspondingly reduced.
In terms of power, the NIO ES9 will be built on the NIO NT3.0 platform, and specific power configuration information is still awaiting official announcement.

The rear suspension structure may share the same origin as the NIO ET9, and the handling performance, driving experience, and ride comfort will all deliver a class-transcending experience. It is estimated that the starting price of the NIO ES9 will be around 450,000 yuan. If the battery rental plan is adopted, the starting price can be reduced by another 100,000 yuan. It is more cost-effective than the benchmarked AITO M9 and more high-end than models such as the Geely Galaxy E80, and its own strength should not be underestimated.
