A few days ago, official images of the exterior and interior of the new AITO M8 were gradually released. Based on continuing the existing design framework, the new car has adjusted details and color schemes.

The overall outline of the new AITO M8 remains consistent with the current model, and the body dimensions are still 5190 mm long, 1999 mm wide, and 1795 mm high, with a wheelbase of 3105 mm. The front face adopts a horizontal full-width LED light strip, the lower intake grille features a dense honeycomb造型, a LiDAR is mounted at the front of the roof, and a side camera is added at the C-pillar. It offers 20-inch and 21-inch wheels in two specifications and supports optional selection of multiple styles, while side foot pedals can also be optionally selected as needed. Two new body colors, "Sky Canopy Cyan" and "Cangrong Green," have been added.

The new AITO M8 adds two interior colors, "Gravel Brown" and "Lanyue White." The center console area adopts a full-width large continuous screen, and the black borders of the three screens have been narrowed, improving visual continuity. It still offers five-seat and six-seat seating layouts. The seat surfaces use a diamond-pattern embossing process, and the right-side seat in the second row adds a leg rest.

The new AITO M8 offers two powertrains: extended-range and pure electric. The extended-range version is equipped with a 1.5T engine and a front and rear dual-motor combination. The engine has a maximum power of 118 kW, the front motor has a maximum power of 170 kW, and the rear motor has a maximum power of 227 kW. It provides two battery capacities: 56.036 kWh and 75.408 kWh. The pure electric version adopts a front and rear dual-motor layout, with a front motor maximum power of 160 kW and a rear motor maximum power of 227 kW, and offers two battery specifications: 97.644 kWh and 120.04329 kWh.

Xiao Tang's view:
Through newly added color schemes and adjustments to screen and seat details, the new AITO M8 adds a touch of refinement to its original steady style. The power changes are not substantial, mainly concentrated in the exterior and the more easily perceived parts of the cabin, which is consistent with its family-oriented positioning, but the final appeal still depends on whether the configuration distribution and pricing can match user expectations.
